Summary
In one family three parent-child pairs were observed which were incompatible in the Gc system because of opposed homozygotism. Following all investigations made hitherto this could not be explained by illegitimacy or an exchange of children. A special Gc type was not to be observed in the carriers. It would be justified to suggest asilent gene Gc 0. The case encountered occurred as an isolated one after examining 2,785 mother-child pairs.
