Summary
A case of rupture of false aneurysm in the external iliac artery due to indirect vascular injury during total hip replacement is described in detail. The false aneurysm due to indirect vascular injury deserves consideration as a possible complication of total hip replacement.
Zusammenfassung
Es wird ein Fall von Aneurysma spurium der Arteria iliaca externa beschrieben, das wahrscheinlich intraoperativ während der Implantation einer Hüftgelenktotalendoprothese durch indirekte Schädigung der Gefäßwand entstanden ist. Als mögliche Komplikation des künstlichen Hüftgelenkersatzes muß somit auch die Entstehung eines Aneurysma spurium in Betracht gezogen werden.
