Convoline — A new alkaloid fromConvolvulus krauseanus

Abstract

A new alkaloid has been isolated from the epigeal part ofConvolvulus krauseanus Regel. et Schmalh., and its structure has been established as (±)-3-veratroyl-N-hydroxynortropane.
