Conclusions
1. The numerical experiment showed that a cable conveyor of the given design satisfies medical requirements with respect to the accuracy of forming the therapeutic dose, since the error of setting the source in position does not exceed the permissible limit.
2. The error can be reduced further by using cables of greater flexural rigidity (GOST 3067-74, d > 3.1 mm) and endostats with a smoother inside surface, and also by reducing the working length of the cable.
3. The linear dimensions of the source have no effect on the value of the error due to positioning.
