Abstract

The coincidence of the frequency of operation of the yarn spreader with the intrinsic frequency of oscillations of the system (resonance phenomenon) is the cause of loss of stability of the take-up winding mechanism in one of its operating regimes. Damping of the thread tension sensor with a damping coefficient of 7·10−2 N·m·sec can be introduced or a sensor signal filter with a time constant of no less than 0.33 sec can be used at the feed into the regulator to ensure the stability of the system.
