Abstract

The technology for processing of reinforced sewing thread using complex SVM fibre was investigated. The positive effect of braiding both the protective layer for decreasing loss of strength of the core thread with significant bends in the knot or loop was demonstrated. The optimum values of the structural parameters of the reinforced yarn and thread were found.
