Conclusions

1. A new procedure is proposed for an optimized calculation of a TETRD with variable temperatures of the heat-transfer media.

2. The operation of a TETRD is considered for a condition where the temperature of the cooled medium is higher than that of the heated medium, i.e., where there is a negative temperature differential between the media.

3. A comparison of the calculated and experimental data for the refrigerating capacity and electrical power give completely satisfactory results.
