Conclusions

1. Peregrinol and two new diterpenoids—marrubiol and vulgarol—have been isolated from the plantMarrubium vulgare L. for the first time.

2. The structure of marrubiol (I), which is possibly a biogenetic precursor of marrubiin, has been demonstrated.
