Gallomyricitrin — A new acylated flavonoid from Sedum selskianum

Summary

The new acylated flavonoid gallomyricitrin (I) with the composition C28H24O16 · 2H2O, mp 214–216°C, [α] D 20 -40° (ethanol) has been isolated for the first time fromSedum selskianum. The structure of 2′,3,3′,4′,5,7-hexahydroxyflavone 3-O-(2″-O-galloyl)-α-L-rhamnopyranosideis proposed for (I).
