Summary

The high-boiling neutral fraction of the oleoresin ofAbies sibirica Ldb. contains abientol C20H34O, abietinal C20H30O, abietinol C20H32O, a polymer (C20H34O)4, and two previously unknown compounds: a diterpene alcohol C20H34O, which we have called isoabienol, and a hydroxyketone C18H30O2. Structure (I) has been proposed for isolabienol.
