Summary

1. The syntheses of L-(+)-α-(α′, β-dilinoleoyl) and -(α′-oleoyl-β linoleoyl) glycerylphosphorylcholines have been effected.

2. During the work involved, the barium salts of L-α-glycerylphosphoryloxyethyl chloride, L-α-(α′, β-dilinoleoyl) glycerylphosphoryloxyethyl chloride, L-α-(α′-oleoyl) glycerylphosphoryloxyethyl chloride, and L-α-(α′-oleoyl-β-linoleoyl) glycerylphosphoryloxyethyl chloride have been isolated and characterized.
