Conclusions

1. Channel time division has been used in rheographic apparatus, where interaction between the pulsed probe currents and the electrode-object-electrode system may increase the error.

2. Such interactions can largely be eliminated if the probe-current spectrum coincides with the frequency range from 30–50 up to 300–400 kHz, in which the system is basically of resistive behavior.

3. A probe current composed of a radio-pulse train is optimum for rheographic purposes with time division, where the mark-space ratio is equal to the number of channels in the apparatus, the repetition frequency is a few hundred Hz, and the carrier frequency lies in the range 50–200 kHz.
