Summary

A case of histiocytic medullary reticulosis in a 20-year-old woman is described. This is the first dermatologic case in Japan.

From our investigation it is suggested that skin lesions are the primary change in this case and that histiocytic medullary reticulosis should be regarded as a variant of malignant reticulohistiocytosis.
