Abstract
Conditions that make it possible to obtain aminomethyl derivatives of 2-R-4,6-dimethyl-5-hydroxypyrimidine that are substituted both in the pyrimidine ring (R = H) and at the methyl group of the side chain (R = H, CH3, C6H3) were found. The facts established in this research make it possible to propose various substitution mechanisms.
