Spectra of phonons emitted under Rydberg autoionization in a resonance electromagnetic field

Abstract

The spectra have been obtained of photons emitted during resonance fluorescence and Raman scattering under laser-induced Rydberg autoionization of an atom. The spectra are studied for various ratios between the problem parameters, when several autoionization states participate in their formation simultaneously to a comparable degree.
