Scope for simulating ionic conducting lattices as spherical electrets

Abstract

Spherical electrets are proposed to simulate an ionic crystal lattice containing polarizable ions, whose electric fields persist for long periods. When there are conducting paths between the charged elements, polarization can exist in thin layers.
