Abstract

We present calculations of yield stresses in uniformly deformed regions of Ni3Ge crystals at temperatures from T=77 to 673 K, taking into account shape changes in the crystals. We evaluate the Schmid factor including deformations. The influence of sample shape changes on the bending of slip planes in homogeneously and inhomogeneously deformed crystal regions is discussed.
