Improvement of the wear resistance of titanium alloys by thermochemical treatment in nitrogen-containing media

Abstract

We generalize the results of thermochemical treatment of titanium alloys in nitrogen-containing media and show that the temperature of isothermal holding, the heating rate, and the partial pressure of the active gas intensify the saturation process.
