Summary
A GLC method for determination of bendroflumethiazide has been developed, using extractive methylation. Cyclopenthiazide was used as internal standard. The maximal plasma concentration (56–107 ng/ml) after bendroflumethiazide 10 mg given orally to four healthy volunteers was seen at 2–2.5 h. On the slope between 4 and 10 h T1/2 averaged 2.7 h.
