Conclusions

-- Introduction of F-2M polymer into the composition of polyacrylonitrile leads to the formation of fibre surface nonuniformities, to an increase in the temperature for the start of decomposition, and an increase in flame resistance, without exerting any marked effect on mechanical properties.

-- With increase in the F-2M content of fibres, their uniformity with respect to diameter is increased while the diameter itself is considerably reduced.
