Some properties of erythrocyte glucose-phosphate dehydrogenase in psoriatics

Summary

Erythrocyte glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase from patients with psoriasis has been isolated and characterized. The enzyme differed from normal in its affinity for NADP, thermostability and pH dependence.

Zusammenfassung

Das Enzym Glucose-6-Phosphat-Dehydrogenase wurde aus Erythrocyten von Patienten mit Psoriasis isoliert und charakterisiert. Eine von der Norm abweichende Affinität zu NADP sowie veränderte Thermostabilität und pH-Abhängigkeit wurden beobachtet.
