Conclusions

The interconnection between the properties of liquid-crystalline solutions of aromatic copolymers and their structure has been investigated.

It has been shown that the viscosity of liquid-crystalline solutions is a parameter which is sensitive to a break-up in the regularity of the polymeric chain upon introduction of “flexible” units into it.
