Abstract
Sorption of mixtures of chlorine, nitrate, and sulfate anions from aqueous medium by strongly basic fibres containing pyridinium and aliphatic amines was investigated in static and dynamic conditions. It was shown that the chemical nature of the anions, including the ionic radius, hydration power, and basicity of the fibre sorbent, has a significant effect on sorption of anions.
