Conclusions

A construction has been described, and a procedure for calculating air distributing devices has been given, which will ensure uniform distribution of compressed air in the volume of a filter press during bubble washing of its charge.

It has been found that the use of these devices permits one to increase the amount of viscose washed out of the filter material by 10%.
