Conclusions

Analysis of molecular weight distributions has disclosed a high polydispersity of sulfate celluloses, which is particularly expressed in hot-refined cellulose.

An increase in the content of low-molecular fractions and in the polydispersity of the cellulose impairs yarn quality and increases the consumption of cellulose in the preparation of viscose tire cord fabric.
