Abstract
The problem of assessing the quality of the solvent in liquid-crystalline solutions of polymers is examined on the example of aromatic polyamides and cellulose derivatives. It was shown that for obtaining the liquid-crystalline state in solutions, preference should be given to thermodynamically good solvents.
