Conclusions
The structure-sensitive coefficient of oriented fluorine-containing monofilaments rises with increase in the melt flow index.
A dependence of crystallite defectiveness on the melt flow index has been detected for the tetrafluoroethylene-ethylene copolymer.
The strength of monofilaments from a copolymer of tetrafluoroethylene with perfluoroalkyl vinyl ether is less than that of monofilaments from a tetrafluoroethylene-ethylene copolymer; this agrees with the larger values of the structure-sensitive coefficient for the first.
