Abstract
A kinetic scheme was proposed based on concepts concerning the mechanism of graft polymerization of aminoalkyl methacrylates (AAMA) to polycaproamide (PCA) fibre (containing a copper complex — IBM·Cu) in the presence of H2O2 and a mathematical description of the kinetics of graft polymerization suitable for this polymerization process was given. The proposed mathematical model can be used to calculate the graft polymerization parameters which make it possible to obtain graft copolymers of a given composition.
