Abstract

A thermogravimetric and differential thermal study of the composite of asphaltite and polyolefins was conducted. It was shown that addition of asphaltite to polyolefins does not significantly affect the character of melting of these polymers. It was shown that asphaltite has a stabilizing effect on the structure of these polymers in thermal and thermal oxidative degradation.
