Low frequency linear electro-optic effect in PbTa2O6

Abstract

The transverse linear electro-optic coefficients of PbTa2O6 crystals, grown from solution in Pb2V2O7, have been measured. A half-wave voltage of 600 V applied along the [010] axis, has been determined.
