Fibre Chemistry Aims and scope

Conclusions

The rheological behavior of polymer systems at various stages of spinning fibres from polymer solutions by the wet method has been analyzed.

Special attention has been paid to problems of the quantitative description of the viscosity of spinning solutions of polymers having different macromolecule stiffness, to effects of breakdown in flow stability and of gelation, and also to orientation processes in spinning.
