An acoustical method of investigating plasticization of hydrocellulose films

Conclusions

The effect of various plasticizers on the propagation velocity and damping coefficient of ultrasonic waves has been studied in model specimens of hydrocellulose films.

It has been shown that the damping coefficient of ultrasonic waves is a characteristic more sensitive to the content of plasticizer and water in a film than the rate of propagation of ultrasonic waves.
