Conclusions

As a result of testing the new lubricant preparations V-4M, V-5, and V-4, it has been found that the optimum composition for processing viscose yarn in the rewinding process is lubricant V-4, based on purified mineral oil and emulsifiers from synthetic raw materials.

The use of lubricant V-4 leads to a decrease in the number of intrapackage yarn defects by a factor of two and to a threefold decrease in its static development; the resistance to repeated bending is increased and the coefficient of friction is reduced, which improves textile processing of the yarn.
