Conclusions
The effect of metallizing conditions and of deposited metal content on the physicomechanical properties and heat-resistance of original and metallized fibre specimens has been investigated.
It has been found that heat-treatment under the conditions of metallization or the introduction of metal up to 4.2% by wt. essentially does not impair the strength characteristics of the fibre, and considerably improves its elastic properties.
The heat-resistance of the metallized fibres exceeds that of the original Nitron fibre.
