Conclusions

The chromatographic behavior of technical N-1 has been studied in “Silufol” plates using various eluents.

Procedures have been developed and certified for determining N-1 in caprolactam, and for the main substance and diphenylamine in N-1; these can be used in the control of technical polyamide yarn manufacture.
