Conclusions
When zinc is replaced by aluminum in viscose fibre technology, the volume of the settler in water clean-up units must be increased by a factor of 1.2–1.6.
In spinning fibre into a zinc-aluminum-containing precipitation bath, it is advisable to isolate the zinc and aluminum from the wastewater and to use them repeatedly in the form of a zinc- and aluminum-containing product.
