Inhibition of haemolysis caused by lead compounds through polyvinylpyridine-N-Oxide

Summary

Haemolysis caused by lead compounds can be inhibited or stopped if the lead particles are incubated with PVNO before the contact with erythrocytes. The degree of the inhibition of haemolysis further depends on the kind of erythrocytes (human or calf or rat erythrocytes) and on the lead compounds (PbO, PbO2, PbCO3).

Zusammenfassung

Die HÄmolyse durch Bleiverbindungen kann gehemmt bzw. unterdrückt werden, wenn die Bleipartikel vor dem Kontakt mit Erythrocyten mit PVNO inkubiert werden. Das Ausma\ der HÄmolysehemmung wird von der Erythrocytenart (Human-, KÄlber- und Rattenerythrocyten) und der Bleiverbindung (PbO, PbO2, PbCO3) mitbestimmt.
