Summary
Strain specific round cell carcinoma (so called BO-tumors) were induced in CBA mice by heteroinduction. The tumors have a hypotetraploid set of 72 chromosomes and a tetraploid DNA stemline. There is a deviation of the mean DNA content of a tumorchromosome of about 20%. Some methodical reasons for this deviation are discussed.
