Abstract
The kinetics of hydrogenation of acetone to propane on a complex palladium-containing catalyst was studied at elevated temperatures when equilibrium was established in the accompanying reaction of isopropanol formation. The kinetic equation resulting from the proposed mechanism of the complex process agrees with the experimental data.
