Summary

Conditions have been worked out for the reductometric determination of MnII with cobalt(II)-nitrate solution in a medium of triethanolamine, cyanide and hydroxide. A large excess of cobalt and a number of other common elements does not interfere in this determination, which is well suited for practical purposes. The error is below 1%.
