Über das Vitalische Organ bei Sphenodon punctatus Gray

Zusammenfassung

Es wird über das Vorhandensein eines typischen Vitalischen Organs bei Sphenodon punctatus, dem einzigen Reptil, bei dem es bisher gefunden wurde, berichtet. Hinsichtlich Entwicklung und Morphologie besteht Übereinstimmung zu den Vögeln. Anhaltspunkte für eine bestimmte Funktion ergeben sich nicht.
