Extrem-Hyperthermie-Versuche bei vier verschiedenen Tumoren von Ratten

Zusammenfassung

Ratten mit chemisch induzierten, autochthonen Hepatomen und subcutan wachsenden Fibrosarkomen sowie mit intramuskulär wachsenden Transplantationstumoren (Yoshida-Sarkom und DS-Carcinosarkom) wurden einer Ganzkörper-Extrem-Hyperthermie unterworfen (43,5–44,0°C für 30 min zweimal pro Woche), um den Einfluß dieser Behandlung auf das Tumorwachstum zu studieren. Es konnten bei den überwärmten Tieren weder signifikante Hemmungen des Geschwulstwachstums noch Verlängerungen der Überlebenszeit beobachtet werden.

Summary

Rats with chemically induced autochthonous hepatomas and subcutaneous fibrosarcomas and with intramuscular growing transplantation tumours (Yoshida-Sarcoma and DS-Carcinosarcoma) were subjected to an total-body-extreme-hyperthermia (43.5°–44.0°C for 30 min two times each week) for studying the influence of this treatment on tumor growth. We could observe no significant restrictions in tumor growth nor prolongation of survival time of the treatet animals.
