Ostitis deformans paget und osteogenes Sarkom

Zusammenfassung

Statistische Übersicht über Altersverteilung und-frequenz, Verteilung auf die Geschlechter und die Häufigkeit der Ostitis deformans Paget, des osteogenen Sarkoms und der Kombination beider Erkrankungen.

Die statistische Auswertung zeigt, daß etwa 30% aller Sarkome jenseits des 50. Lebensjahres auf dem Boden einer Ostitis deformans Paget entstehen. Zwischen klinischer Diagnose der Ostitis deformans Paget und der Sarkomerkennung, d. h. der klinischen Manifestation, liegt ein Intervall von etwa 10 Jahren.

Pathologisch-anatomische und-histologische Untersuchungsergebnisse stützen die statistischen Ergebnisse, daß die Ostitis deformans Paget ein echter Wegbereiter für die Bildung einer bösartigen Geschwulst (osteogenes Sarkom) sein kann.

Es werden zwei eigene Beobachtungen von osteogenen Sarkomen auf dem Boden von Paget-Erkrankungen mitgeteilt. Es wird auf den symptomlosen Verlauf der Ostitis deformens Paget hingewiesen.
