Zusammenfassung
Es wird über die Sektion einer 65jährigen Frau mit primärem Gallertcarcinom der Appendix vermicularis und über ein Appendix-Operationspräparat mit primärem Adenocarcinom eines 68jährigen Mannes berichtet. An Hand dieser Fälle und eines Falles von Metastasierung eines Carcinoma simplex der Mamma in der Appendix wird die Differentialdiagnose der primären und metastatischen Appendixcarcinome erörtert.
Die Zusammenfassung der Carcinoide, Mucocelen und der zylinderzelligen Carcinome unter dem Oberbegriff des Appendixcarcinoms (Uihlein und McDonald) kann nicht befürwortet werden.
Aus der Literatur wird eine Zusammenstellung von 9 durch Sektion bestätigten und von 50 am Operationsmaterial diagnostizierten Fällen von primärem zylinderzelligem Carcinom der Appendix vermicularis gegeben. Primäre Appendixcarcinome sind danach sehr selten.
