Zusammenfassung
Systematische Erhebungen über die Mißbildungen bei 921513 in der Tschechoslowakei geborenen Kindern haben fünf Fälle von Agenesie der caudalen Wirbelsäule aufgedeckt. In drei Fällen war diese Mißbildung mit Oesophagusatresie und Nierenagenesie kombiniert. In diesen drei Fällen hatten die Mütter während der Schwangerschaft Kontakt mit verschiedenen Chemikalien.
Summary
Five cases of agenesis of the lower spine have been found among 921513 newborns in Czechoslovakia. In three of these five cases atresia of the oesophagus and renal agenesis were also present. The mothers of these three cases have been in contact with various chemical substances during pregnancy.
