Summary
Photographing with the aid of short-wave infra-red light has been used for improved photographic demarcation of hyaline cartilage from connective tissue and fibrous cartilage in specimens from children. This improved effect seems to be the result of a particularly high permeability to infra-red light rays in the hyaline cartilage of children.
