Basophile und eosinophile Granulocyten bei Frühgeborenen

Zusammenfassung

Bei 40 Frühgeborenen wurden die eosinophilen und basophilen Granulocyten in der Zählkammer gleichzeitig ermittelt. Die Zählungen wurden in der 1. Lebenswoche täglich, bis zum Ende des 1. Lebensmonats wöchentlich durchgeführt. Gesamtleukocytenzahl und Differentialblutbild wurden zusätzlich berücksichtigt.

Die absolute Zahl der eosinophilen und basophilen Granulocyten erhöht sich mit zunehmendem Lebensalter.Diese Erhöhung ist bei Frühgeborenen mit geringerem Geburtsgewicht ausgeprägter. Bei schweren Erkrankugen kommt es zu einem Abfall der Zahl beider Zelltypen im peripheren Blut; leichtere Erkrankungen zeigen keinen sicheren Einfluß. Eine positive Korrelation der quantitativen Veränderungen von eosinophilen und basophilen Granulocyten im peripheren Blut konnte statistisch gesichert werden. Die Bedeutung der Befunde wird kurz besprochen.

Summary

On 40 premature infants the eosinophils and basophils were counted at the same time. The counting was done daily during the first week of life, afterwards once a week until the end of the first month. The total number of leucocytes and the differential blood count were investigated additionally.

The absolute number of the eosinophils and basophils is rising with the age. This rising is more marked on premature infants with lower birth weight. During severe diseases the number of both kinds of cells is decreasing in the peripheral blood. A positive correlation of the quantitative changes of the eosinophils and basophils was confirmed statistically.
