Zusammenfassung
Beim Goldhamster fallen hernienartige Zellproliferationen des Endometriums, die Blutgefäße und Uterindrüsen enthalten, auf. Deshalb wird ihre Entwicklung verfolgt und ihre Bedeutung diskutiert. Während der Gravidität dringen sie auffällig in Venen des Stratum vasculare ein. Diese zapfenartigen, intravasalen Gebilde erreichen ihr größtes Ausmaß am Ende des 4. Tages der Trächtigkeit. Die morphologischen Veränderungen in der Zona basalis endometrii und im angrenzenden Myometrium sind bereits zu Beginn der Schwangerschaft erkennbar. Die ersten Anzeichen treten schon im Fruchthalter der nicht trächtigen Tiere auf. Es wird gezeigt, daß während der ersten 4 Tragtage eine Parallele der Entwicklung der Mucosaprolapse mit den Endo-Myometrium-Veränderungen bei cyclischen Tieren besteht. Zusammen, mit entsprechenden Beobachtungen bei anderen Säugetieren wird daraus die Auffassung begründet, daß einerseits jedes erste Viertel einer Tragzeit eine Wiederholung des Cyclus darstellt, und andererseits jeder Cyclus eine beginnende, Frucht-lose Schwangerschaft repräsentiert. Daraus wird der Schluß gezogen, der junge Keim spiele während der ersten Tage nur eine passive Rolle im mütterlichen Organismus.
An Hand der weiteren Entwicklung der intravasalen Schleimhautprolapse ergeben sich morphologische Zusammenhänge mit den Spiralarterien der Placenta, mit den von Orsini (1957) beschriebenen “vascular knots” und mit der von Ancel et Bouin entdeckten Glandula myometralis. Anschließend wird die mögliche Bedeutung der Mucosahernien als inkretorische, sekretorische oder hämodynamische Faktoren in feto-maternen Stoffwechsel diskutiert.
