Summary

The paper deals with recent analytical methods for the determination of cumene and benzene.

In the method emphasized here cumene and benzene are determined at 258, 260 and 268 nm in n-heptane solution. The concentration is obtained graphically by means of a calibration diagram.

Silica gel is used for the adsorption of benzene and cumene from air samples.
