Summary
This paper covers a 10 years-old patient with a Rothmund-Syndrom and his mother.
There was found a double Trisomy of the D and G group in this patient. This is for the 3rd time that a D/G Double-Trisomy is described.
In the mothers chromosomal mosaic were 88% cells with 46 Chromosomes (10% euploid and 90% Trisomy D and XO) and 10% cells with 47 Chromosomes (Trisomy D), and two plates with only 45 Chromosomes.
It is attempted to analyse this double trisomy. Supposed an ovum of the cell serie with 47 Chromosomes containes after the division 24 Chromosomes and is impregnated with an euploid Spermium, the D-Trisomy is explained. If it comes to a nondisjunktion in the 2nd reductional division, the Trisomy G can be explained.
